About The Statue of Unity
Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest statue measuring 182 m dedicated to the great Indian Statesman Sardar Vallabhbai Patel. It is located on a river island in Narmada and faces the Sardar Sarovar dam. It is located at a distance of 100 km from the cultural capital of Gujarat, the city of Vadodara. The statue was inaugurated on 31st October 2018, on the occasion of the 143rd anniversary of Sardar Patel.
